What we Believe

We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God, and it reveals God’s will and purpose for all of mankind.

We believe in the trinity. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All three are uniquely God, but existing as three distinct persons. They are co-eternal, co-equal, and co-reign together.

God

God is the creator of the universe and by Him all things are held together.

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the unique virgin born Son of God, who brought salvation to humanity by His sacrificial, substitutionary death on the cross, and rose from the dead three days later. He ascended back into Heaven 40 days later, where He is interceding for those he redeemed. He will return one day to call the redeemed to be with Him in glory for the rest of eternity. He is the only way of salvation.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the indwelling Spirit of God within all the redeemed. He empowers us to know and do the will of God for His glory and our good. He seals us unto the day of salvation by God’s omnipotent power. He is God’s guarantee to us of the perseverance of the saints.

Salvation

All of humanity is lost in sin in need of a Savior, who is Jesus Christ our Lord. In order for one to be saved, they must recognize they are a sinner; repent of their sins; and receive Jesus as Savior. After salvation has been received, they then follow Jesus’ command to be baptized by immersion; become a part of local church; and begin to live out their salvation to the glory of God until they are all called home to be with Him and all the saints.

The Church

The church is both a universal and local entity. The universal church is all the saints of all times ultimately gathered together in Heaven. The local church is the body of Christ carrying out the Great Commission to reach the lost around the world.
